MILWAUKEE –March 27, 2026 – Milwaukee Film is thrilled to reveal the full online program guide for the 2026 Milwaukee Film Festival (MFF26), presented by Associated Bank, which runs April 16-30, 2026. In celebration of the continued partnership between the arts nonprofit and Associated Bank, Milwaukee Film has posted the full lineup of films that make up MFF26.
The MFF26 lineup features an eclectic array of award-winning short and feature-length films from local, national, and international filmmakers. With a selection of newly restored classics, the return of beloved Milwaukee Film Festival traditions such as the Stop Making Sense dance party, Cinebuds Live, and Anvil Orchestra’s live orchestra accompaniment, plus four feature films making their world premiere (including our Opening Night Film, Ueck, based on beloved Milwaukee Brewers announcer and baseball icon Bob Uecker), this year’s Festival has an extensive range of offerings that everyone can enjoy. In addition to the highly anticipated screenings, MFF26 invites folks to attend panel discussions and filmmaker Q&As, enhancing the communal experience of cinema.
Milwaukee Film’s Executive Director Susan Kerns expressed, “We’re excited to return with the 18th annual Milwaukee Film Festival, bringing audiences yet another year of the best movies from around the world. The 2026 lineup is a film smorgasbord with world premieres, emerging new artists, and time-tested cinematic masters. Every day will hold a new surprise!” She continued, “ We’re deeply grateful to Associated Bank for their continued support of the Milwaukee Film Festival. Their commitment to the arts in Milwaukee sets them apart and helps keep the city a vibrant, eclectic, and attractive place to live.”
